ASI NDB1L-32C-16-120V DIN Rail Mount Ground Fault Circuit Breaker, UL 1053 Ground Fault Sensing, Leakage Current 30 mA, 16 amp, 120V Review

ASI NDB1L-32C-16-120V DIN Rail Mount Ground Fault Circuit Breaker, UL 1053 Ground Fault Sensing, Leakage Current 30 mA, 16 amp, 120V

The ASI NDB1L-32C-16-120V is a 16 amp gfci circuit breaker that provides protection to equipment from a short circuit, overload and earth leakage. The UL1053 ground fault breaker opens the circuit with leakage greater than 30 mA and has a convenient LED visual trip indicator. The circuit breaker is rated at 16 amps, 120 Vac with a 4.5kA interrupt capacity. The NDB1L series of ground fault circuit breakers all feature screw clamp shock proof wire terminations, push to test button and convenient din rail mounting. The NDB1L series of ground fault circuit breakers use the C Curve trip characteristics which are instantaneous trip 5In to 10In.

Bussmann FRN-R-40 40 Amp Fusetron Dual Element Time-Delay Current Limiting Fuse Class RK5, 250V UL Listed Review

Bussmann FRN-R-40 40 Amp Fusetron Dual Element Time-Delay Current Limiting Fuse Class RK5, 250V UL Listed

Product Description

Description: advanced protection, energy efficient class Rk5 dual element, current-limiting, time-delay fuses with optional open fuse indication on select ratings.^^Features: provides motor overload, ground fault and short-circuit protection helps protect Motors against burnout from overloads helps protect Motors against burnout from single-phasing on three-phase systems simplifies and improves blackout prevention (selective coordination) dual-element fuses can be applied in circuits subject to temporary motor overloads and surge currents to provide both high performance short-circuit and overload protection the overload element provides protection against low level overcurrent of overloads and will hold an overload which is five times greater than the ampere rating of the fuse for a minimum of ten seconds.^^Time-delay – 10 seconds (minimum) at 500% of rated current (8 seconds for 110-30a sizes).^^agency information: ce, UL listed, std. 248-12, class rk-5, guide jddz, file E4273 CSA certified, C22.2 no. 248.12, class 1422-02, file 53787.

From the Manufacturer

Heavy duty time-delay fuse used in motor protection. When sized correctly, it helps protect motors from burnout caused by overloads or single-phasing. The time-delay feature allows the initial startup current surge for typical motors to pass, but opens prior to motor burnout when longer, dangerous overloads are present. In addition, the dual-element design opens in as little as 0.004 second if the fuse experiences short-circuit conditions. UL Listed Class R (IR: 200kA). Groove in end cap or notch in knife blade permit the fuse to be used in Class H, Class K or Class R fuse blocks. Cartridge fuses are used to protect motors and branch circuits where higher amps or volt ratings are required. They are available in a wide variety of sizes, amp and volt ratings up to 600Vac and 600 amps. Cartridge fuses are used extensively in commercial, industrial and agricultural applications as well as residential fuse panels, air conditioning, pumps, appliances and other equipment. Cartridge fuses are available in two types. General Purpose fuses have no time-delay and protect fuse panels, appliances and branch circuits. Heavy- Duty fuses have a time-delay feature, allowing momentary motor startups. Both are available in 250Vac and 600Vac versions with catalog symbol and amp rating stamped on the knife blade or end cap.
